Snowcompare – What’s it all about?

It’s wet and windy here in the UK today, but that’s a sure sign that winter is getting closer – and here at the Snowcompare offices we couldn’t be happier about that. 

We’re excited to be going in to our first full ski season after testing the functionality of the website throughout the final 2 months of last season.  We’re working hard to get the best transfer suppliers signed up and working with us so that we can help people get the best deal on their airport to ski resort transfer.

What are we all about though?  Snowcompare – we like to think the name says it all…but let us tell you a bit more about what we’re trying to achieve.

For our first full season in the ski market we’ll be concentrating on one of the more difficult areas to book online – airport transfers.  With a multitude of companies out there offering journey between your airport and hotel, it can be a difficult and time consuming process to check the prices of every individual company.  Add in to the mix that there may be issues with availability at busy times, and that some of the best transfer companies are slow to answer emails; and it can be the element of your holiday that holds the whole booking process up.

At Snowcompare we want to make that airport to resort booking process simpler and easier for our customers.  So, we’ve gone out and contacted all the best, fully licensed and insured airport transfer companies and bought them together in one place.  We’ve got great companies signed up with us and operating private taxi transfers all over Europe – including Mountain Rides, Powder Cab, Sky2Ski Transfers, and Cool Runnings.

Transfer companies get to create their own profile page and upload their pricelist and availability all to be viewed, compared and booked on one website.  This means that as a customer you can enter your travel details just once and see all the available transfers plus the prices.  Add in to the mix independent customer reviews with all the company details, and you can be confident you’re getting the best journey and an amazing price for your group.
